What’s Fair Play and Good Sportsmanship? For God’s Sake, Don’t Ask a Conservative!

I hated Ronald Raygun with a passion. During his eight years, I was depressed to be in the minority, surrounded by a herd of his dim-witted, adoring fans. Raygun’s fans worshipped him and despised people like me – Liberals, they sneered. It was a dark, unpleasant time. You know what I did? Toughed it out and waited for a better day.

I hated DUHbya most of all. He was a spoiled, stupid, rich frat boy masquerading as somebody humble and hardworking. Duhbya is even dumber than Raygun was. And, whereas Raygun used charisma to gain power, Duhbya and his thugs used bullying. After the 2004 election, Karl Rove, “the architect of victory,” declared Republicans would hold power for the next generation. You know what I did? I wrote my vision of that generation.

Now, after a single election and less than a year of a change in ruling party, what’s the minority doing? Everything they can to undermine the majority constantly. Nice, nice people. They’re frightened idiots who apparently have no faith at all in the strength of America to survive shifts in power. To Hell with them all.

  1. I’m an independent voter…I vote for people who don’t have a

snowball’s chance in hell of getting elected. But….I have to say that after listening to eight yrs of hatred from the left about

George Bush…I will never even consider voting for a Dem. The last straw was in an elevator, listening to to men joking about Tony

Snow’s cancer and how happy they were that he was dying. I never realized how much hatred and what I think now was some type of mental

illness…harbored by a party. The Repubs have a LONG way to go before they could ever match the Democrats in hatred and intolerance.

Read over your own rants and try to be as objective as possible. Don’t you seem to have your own problem with hate? But I guess it’s

your blog so you can hate whoever you want.

  2. Laurie E- Am I really worse than Glenn Beck? Michael Slaughter? Ann Coulter? Really? (Name

3 liberals with similar clout who have been as ugly to Republicans.) I don’t even want Duhbya to die prematurely. I want him to have a

long life to consider his mistakes.

I think both sides have extremists who get out of hand. But I don’t think any Republican

would say that. Let me know when you find one. And let me know if you know who cast the first stone. (I believe it was a

    conservative.)

I do find it interesting — objectively — that both sides accuse each other of exactly the same things. Perhaps

society is sick. I pretty certain a conservative would consider that notion absurd.

Thanks for reading and writing. peace, mjh
