Obviously they are,\u201d Sanders said, relaying that voter turnout in Denmark tends to approach 90 percent.  <\/p>\n<p>\u201cIs it a society where the government owns every mom-and-pop store?\u201d he asked. \u201cOf course not. You have all kinds of capitalist entrepreneurship going on, a lot of wealth being created. But what else do you have? \u2026 An effort to make sure that all people benefit from the wealth that\u2019s being created. So you have a much more equitable distribution of wealth and income. \u2026 I talked to a guy from Denmark, and he said, \u2018In Denmark, it is very hard to become very, very rich, but it\u2019s pretty hard to be very, very poor.\u2019 And that makes a lot of sense to me.\u201d  <\/p>\n<p>In Denmark, Sanders said, health care is a right, and college education is free. \u201cSounds like a very terrible form of government,\u201d he said sarcastically.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.msn.com\/en-us\/news\/politics\/what-sanders-means-by-democratic-socialism-you-still-have-your-choice-of-pajamas\/ar-AAewgeE\">What Sanders means by &#8216;democratic socialism.&#8217; (You still have your choice of pajamas.)<\/a><\/p>\n<p>More likely, Conservatives are simply apoplectic over the notion of it being difficult to become very, very rich (and ever more so under their policies).<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>I\u2019ll be interested to hear Conservatives denigrate the Scandinavian countries.
