You would think a deadly storm was expected. I said to the cashier, \u201cSeems crazy-busy this morning.\u201d \u201cYeah,\u201d she replied, \u201cThe playoffs are this afternoon.\u201d (If she mentioned the sport, I didn\u2019t register it.) \u201cIf you hadn\u2019t told me, I never would have known,\u201d I said, truthfully. \u201cAlso, Comic Con is in town,\u201d she added, perhaps sizing me up.<\/p>\n<p>I\u2019ll be playing volleyball on a beautiful sunny New Mexico day.
