Obama\u2019s performance wasn\u2019t flawless and he didn\u2019t score a clean win as Romney did in the first debate. But, he was the better performer this time around.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.washingtonpost.com\/blogs\/the-fix\/wp\/2012\/10\/16\/winners-and-losers-from-the-second-presidential-debate\/?tid=ts_carousel\">Winners and losers from the second presidential debate<\/a><\/p>\n<p>[Pet peeve: Obama\u2019s line wasn\u2019t \u201cabout how his pension <em>wasn\u2019t<\/em> as big as Romney\u2019s\u201d it was \u201cabout how his pension <em>isn\u2019t<\/em> as big as Romney\u2019s.\u201d I hate this convention of making something past tense that wasn\u2019t and still isn\u2019t past.
