I <em>have<\/em> been writing letters to the editor, letters to friends, and in journals for much of my life. But I began my part of the blogosphere two years ago today (<a href=\"http:\/\/www.mjhinton.com\/blogs\/archives\/00000001.htm\">mjh&#8217;s Weblog Entry &#8211; 11\/24\/2002: &#8220;hello, world!&#8221;<\/a>). Now, I have 4 blogs, host 3 others, and read 8 more every day. From little acorns mighty addictions grow.<\/p>\n<p>I&#8217;ve been tweaking the layout and functioning of this blog, including the categories and the menus down the side. &#8230;<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<blockquote><p>&bull; <a title=\"mjh's Weblog Archives\" href=\"http:\/\/www.mjhinton.com\/blogs\/archives\/index.htm\"><i>old<\/i> mjh&#8217;s Weblog Archives<\/a><br \/>\n&bull; <a title=\"mjh's Blog Archives\" href=\"http:\/\/www.edgewiseblog.com\/mjh\/archives.html\"><i>new<\/i> mjh&#8217;s Blog Archives<\/a><\/p>\n<h2>Blogs I read<\/h2>\n<p>Most bloggers also read other blogs. Sometimes I can barely control my glee. I probably don&#8217;t write something I find pleasurable every day, but writing every day increases the odds.<\/p>\n<h2>My Biggest Blog Disappointment<\/h2>\n<p>I don&#8217;t really know who reads this, who likes it, or who returns. I blame part of this on the damn <a title=\"mjh's Blog: No Comment\" href=\"http:\/\/www.edgewiseblog.com\/mjh\/000293.htm\">blog-spammers<\/a> who made it necessary to kill the comments function. You&#8217;re still welcome to write and <a href=\"mailto:mark@mjhinton.com\" title=\" any time \">tell me what you think<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>And so this is mostly a shot in the dark. Or, as Gertrude Stein put is: &#8220;I am writing for myself and strangers. This is the only way that I can do it&#8230;.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>Thanks for visiting.
