In perpetrating the idea that there\u2019s no intellectual requirement for the office of the presidency, the right wing of the party offers a Farrelly Brothers \u201cDumb and Dumber\u201d primary in which evolution is avant-garde. \u2026<\/p>\n<p>The occupational hazard of democracy is know-nothing voters. You\u2019d think one of the other candidates might jump in with a word about Christian kindness. Not a peep. ..<\/p>\n<p><font style=\"background-color: #ffc000\">I believe the Republican candidates\u2019 pinched, crabby view of government\u2019s nature and role is immoral.<\/font> I believe the fact that poverty has risen sharply over the past decade \u2014 as shown by new <a href=\"http:\/\/www.washingtonpost.com\/wp-dyn\/content\/article\/2010\/09\/16\/AR2010091602698.html\">census data<\/a> \u2014 while the richest Americans have seen their incomes soar is unacceptable.
