Even if every non-Dem votes Republican (and they won\u2019t), Republicans only win if Dems don\u2019t vote or do vote Republican.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.democracyfornewmexico.com\/democracy_for_new_mexico\/2010\/10\/nm-democrats-beating-republicans-in-early-voting-by-8000-votes.html\">Democracy for New Mexico: NM Democrats Beating Republicans in Early Voting by 8000+ Votes<\/a> <\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p>Here are the facts:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>8,000 more Democrats than Republicans have voted early<\/strong>, according to the most recent data provided by the Secretary of State. <strong>This data does not include Early Voting that took place on Saturday<\/strong>, traditionally the busiest Early Voting day of the cycle, which is expected to increase the Democrats\u2019 early vote margin considerably. <\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Democrats also have a lead among \u201cinfrequent voters\u201d<\/strong> &#8212; those who typically don\u2019t vote in non-presidential year elections &#8212; a group that most experts consider a key turn-out target in order to win in 2010. <\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul><a>       <\/p>\n<li>Early vote and absentee data from New Mexico show that <strong>Democrats in the state are outperforming Democrats in other states with competitive Governor races<\/strong>, such as Florida and Colorado.
