I want to thank staunch Conservative purists for continually showing that \u201cyou\u2019re with us or you\u2019re against us\u201d in absolutely every single detail of ideology. By purging the Republican Party of its awful RINOs \u2013 Republicans in name only<\/em> \u2013 the small-minded, bigoted, and vicious Right has cleansed itself of the weak who paradoxically threaten then. Strength through purity and like-mindedness. Agree with me or die my enemy \u2013 the creed of \u201cconservatives\u201d around the world.<\/p>\n

So, today, I announce the new AINO Movement for a Strong Fatherland<\/strike> Homeland\u2013 pronounced I Know<\/em>, don\u2019t you know: Americans In Name Only<\/em>. If you think America is a Christian Nation, you\u2019re an AINO. If you are afraid beyond any reassurance, you\u2019re an AINO. If you\u2019re angry to the point of violence, you\u2019re an AINO. If you think guns and warfare are the only things keeping you free, you\u2019re an AINO. If you deny that diversity is stability, you\u2019re an AINO. If you despise change and difference, you\u2019re an AINO. If you\u2019re not sure you\u2019re an AINO, find someone holier than thou to make the pronouncement. You shall be judged in every detail of your life. You will be tested in every action, every word, every thought, again and again. No one gets a free ride; no one pays sufficient dues to escape continual reassessment. The ground beneath your feet will never again be firm. Watch yourself, AINO.<\/p>\n

Binnie is not the only Republican falling victim to the \u201chostile takeover<\/a>\u201d and radicalization of the GOP. The so-called \u201creasonable Republican<\/a>\u201d Rep. Bob Inglis criticized Republican leaders<\/a> for the \u201clowest form of political leadership\u201d and Tea Party-driven \u201cdemagoguery\u201d that is \u201cdividing the country into partisan camps that really look a lot like Shia and Sunni.\u201d Though he received \u201ca 93 percent lifetime rating<\/a> from the American Conservative Union,\u201d he lost in his primary run-off. <\/p>\n

Sen. Bob Bennett (R-UT), who fell victim to a Tea Party backlash, slammed the GOP<\/a> for letting tea parties and Fox News lead it by the nose. Echoing Binnie\u2019s sentiments, Bennett noted, \u201cI find plenty of slogans on the Republican side, but not very many ideas.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n
