Life Imitates Art

When I heard the news about a mouse burning down a house, I immediately recalled a poem

by Billy Collins. One might say life imitates art again, but the news is more about karma. mjh

lit up in the blazing insulation,
the tiny looks of wonderment on the faces

fellow mice, onetime inhabitants
of what once was your house in the country?
